By integrating 3DSuit with the Ubisense ultra-wideband (UWB) RF real-time location system (RTLS), 3DSuit PosiTrac now makes it possible to reap the benefits of inertial based motion tracking while not having to sacrifice the ability to accurately track the position of characters during a capture. Also, at just under $7K for a full position system, users of 3DSuit can add this critical component without breaking the bank.

One 3DSuit Positrac system can track up to 10 simultaneous characters with abilities to physically interact with each other throughout the scene. Also, 3DSuit PosiTrac is not limited to use with full-body tracking only. Many applications, such as the after action review (AAR) product pictured to the right, may require to track position and orientation of specific critical elements such as the head and weapon of military training participants.
